UltimateMouse is a powerful software for you to operate multiple computers by one set of mouse/keyboard.
When you launch this program, you'll see a mouse/keyboard icon in your system tray. By right
mouse click on the icon, you can connect to another computer (the other computer also has
to launch the program) by entering either IP address or computer name.
Once two computers are connected, you can move mouse back and forth between the two
computers. The mouse can only be moved to another computer through either the up-left
or up-right corner of the computer screen. The orientation can be toggled by right mouse click
on the icon and then select the mouse access direction menu.
Now your computers work in unison as tightly combined computing resource.
You can operate your mouse or type on your keyboard either on local computer or remote
computer, depending on which one the mouse has focus on.
You can copy a portion of text from one computer and then move the mouse to another
computer and paste the text over there.
You can also copy/paste graphics.
You can right mouse click a file and open it on the other computer provided the other computer
has an application which can handle the file.
You can copy a file or a folder and then move the mouse to another computer and paste it there.
Once you get used to it, it should greatly increase your efficiency and productivity, or simply convenience.
